  • Năm 1917, Công ty được thành lập bởi Kazuchika Okura dưới tên, TOYO TOKI CO. LTD mà sau này đổi tên thành TOTO.
  • Năm 1923, Các trận động đất lớn Kanto xảy ra tàn phá Tokyo. Một hệ thống nước thải được xây dựng trong quá trình tái thiết, dẫn đến nhu cầu tăng nhanh nhanh chóng cho thiết bị vệ sinh.
  • Năm 1946, Sau Thế chiến II, TOTO bắt đầu sản xuất phụ kiện kim loại và vòi ngoài vật liệu gốm truyền thống.

Giới thiệu công ty thiết bị vệ sinh TOTO Việt Nam

Được thành lập năm 1917, thiết bị vệ sinh TOTO là nhà sản xuất hàng đầu Nhật Bản về thiết bị sứ vệ sinh và thiết bị dẫn nước kim loại. Trong khi đó, Việt Nam là một trong những thị trường xuất khẩu của sản phẩm TOTO. Để đưa các sản phẩm nội thất phòng tắm của hãng trở nên quen thuộc và gần gũi với cuộc sống con người Việt Nam, năm 1996 TOTO quyết định thành lập văn phòng đại diện tại TP HCM. Kể từ đó, cùng với sự tăng trưởng kinh tế mạnh mẽ của Việt Nam, nhãn hiệu TOTO càng trở nên nổi tiếng và có mặt khắp mọi nơi trên đất nước Việt Nam. Là thị trường lớn đầy tiềm năng, một đất nước của những người thợ tài hoa và cần cù lao động, chính là cơ sở để Toto quyết định xây dựng nhà máy vào tháng 3/2002 tại Hà Nội.

Năm 2017, TOTO Vietnam chính thức mở rộng nhà máy sản xuất sen vòi tại Hưng Yên và có showroom do hãng quản lý tại TPHCM và sắp tới sẽ mở tại Hà Nội và Đà Nẵng.

Công nghệ tiên tiến của thiết bị phòng tắm TOTO Nhật Bản

Thiết bị vệ sinh cao cấp TOTO đã tạo 1 bước đột phá về công nghệ mới trong lĩnh vực sành sứ bằng sự thay đổi kết cấu bề mặt. Với công nghệ này, bề mặt sành sức được phủ lớp men siêu nhẵn. Trong bối cảnh nền kinh tế Việt Nam phát triển với tốc độ nhanh, cùng với chiến lược mở rộng thị trường của tập đoàn Toto, Công ty TNHH TOTO Việt Nam quyết định khởi công xây dựng nhà máy thứ 2 để nâng cao khả năng cung ứng hàng hóa cho thị trường nội địa cũng như xuất khẩu. Nhà máy này được xây dựng tại Lô F1, khu công nghiệp Thăng Long, Đông Anh, Hà Nội. Nhà máy thứ 2 có tổng vốn đầu tư 52 triệu USD ( 100% vốn đầu tư từ Toto Nhật Bản) với diện tích 46.000 m2, sản lượng trung bình 750.000 sản phẩm/năm, thu hút khoảng 1.000 nhân viên lao động, sản xuất, đã đi vào hoạt động từ tháng 9/2006. Đây là nhà máy đầu tiên ở Đông Nam Á được lắp đặt dây chuyền sản xuất với quy mô lớn, sử dụng khuôn đúc Plastic đúc sản phẩm, sản phẩm sẽ xuất khẩu, trong đó thị trường chính sẽ là Mỹ, Trung Quốc và Nhật Bản.
