What a tough time of year to be a garden blogger: so many things to write about, and so little time to write. It was tempting to wait one more week to post for Bloom Day and try to catch up on some weeding this evening. But I spent much of the morning out in my meadow, with my mower and then with my camera, and I really wanted to share some of my finds. (more…)

Wildflowers on Ice

The current week’s theme at Wildflower Morning is Wildflowers in Winter, so I’ve pulled some shots from my southeastern Pennsylvania meadow. All of these are from December 14, 2007, in between two periods of freezing rain.

Summer Wildflowers in PA

Thanks to Jodi at Bloomingwriter, I just caught on to the Favorite Wildflower theme at Wildflower Morning. This is my (late) entry of wildflowers and grasses, all taken in my sunny, mostly wet meadow in southeastern Pennsylvania.
